Revealed: Peter Capaldi's Doctor Who Costume

The title role of Doctor Who is handed from actor to actor on a regular basis, and along with the new man comes new clothesPeter Capaldi, who briefly appeared as the 12th Doctor in the last minute of the 2013 Christmas Special, will soon get settled in the TARDIS, and now we know what he'll be wearing

The BBC revealed a photo of the 12th Doctor in full costume, shown below. Capaldi's outfit honestly doesn't look that far removed from his predecessor's, Matt Smith's, during his final adventures. It's a fairly conservative dark suit with some red lining that aptly suggests the role of a magician. The white shirt and polished shoes look regal, although they also tend to emphasize his age (Capaldi is 55 years old). Read more...
