
Tom Preston-Werner, cofounder and president of programming network GitHub, has resigned from the company following an investigation into gender harassment allegations
GitHub launched an independent investigation, which found no evidence that Preston-Werner and his wife had engaged in "sexual or gender-based harassment or retaliation, or of a sexist or hostile work environment."
"However, while there may have been no legal wrongdoing, the investigator did find evidence of mistakes and errors of judgment," Chris Wanstrath, cofounder and CEO of GitHub, wrote in a statement online.
