
Get ready for a musical trip down memory lane — or to feel really old. The Now That's What I Call Music! compilation series just released its 50th edition.
The first installment of the NOW series was released October 27, 1998. It was a time when CDs (and cassettes) were sold through television commercials, checks or money orders were completely acceptable forms of payment, and the only way you could listen to music was on the radio, MTV or by physically owning it.
