'Brady Bunch' Star Ann B. Davis Dies at 88 After Fall in Home

Ann B. Davis, whose always positive, no-nonsense housekeeper Alice Nelson was the glue that held The Brady Bunch together, died of a head injury Sunday after falling in her San Antonio, Texas, home. She was 88.

Davis fell in her bathroom and never regained consciousness, reported TMZ, which broke the news Sunday afternoonCNN also confirmed her death with Davis' friend Bishop William Frey, who said the injury caused subdural hematoma, a collection of blood on the surface of the brain. She died at at University Hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday
